So I actually sat down to watch the newest episode of Supernatural.

Sam and Dean find out that there is a guy who is receiving visions of all their adventures and publishing them as the "Supernatural" paperback series.

They read the books and are totally appalled. Then they research on the internet...

"There are people here who write stories about us being together!"

"They know that we are brothers?"

"Doesn't seem to matter..."

It's the first time I heard references to fandom and fanfiction in the show itself. Is the power of fanfiction finally being recognized?

I also rather liked this:

"Fiery demonic passion??"

Author: "Well, it's the first draft..."

I love British humor!

Since we got a TV, I've come across a number of shows which deal with current events, news and headlines in a funny way. There are those guys sitting at a table, looking like retired accountants from the 60s and I think "Oh gosh, where is the remote?" but then the men in the tweed suits open their mouths and what comes out is so incredibly funny and witty and sarcastic and intelligent that we were actually rolling on the floor.

It's also not a bad thing that I discovered Stephen Fry, one of my favourite authors, in two of those shows.
