Seepferdchen

I just got a call from my Mum.

Today, Tania has passed her swimming test and received her 'Seepferdchen' = Sea Horse Award (?)

She had to swim a certain length and dive for a ring at the bottom of the pool. She is so proud and happy!

And I am also immensely proud of her :)



Tania hat heute ihr Seepferdchen bestanden! Anke hat mich gerade angerufen und die frohe Botschft verkuendet.

Tani ist unheimlich stolz und freut sich auf ihre Schwimmparty im Oktober!

Und ich bin auch unheimlich stolz auf sie :)

That's so awesome! I love swimming and it brought a lot of great memories...I hope she continues to do it and maybe turns it into a hobby. Yay, Tania :)

We will definitely be seen more often at the local swimming pool.

Unfortunately, schools here (or in Germany, or any European country as far as I know) don't have swim teams or any other kind of sports teams for that matter...
