Christmas, as in vacation, skiing or something packed with culture

3. What's new in your life right now?

What's not new? All the old things in my life fit into a suitcase AND are currently situated in said suitcase - still no private possessions from Germany...

4. Where was the last Starbucks that you visited?

I have never ever in my life had something from Starbucks. I think I accompanied my husband a few years back into one and waited while he got a coffee beverage with a name that consisted of at least 15 words. This disinterest could stem from the fact that I do not drink coffee, I do not eat it either. No mocha ice cream, no cappuccino chocolate, no Irish Coffee. I have a childhood trauma. When I was six, I accidentally drank my father's black, unsweetened coffee, got violently sick and had a fever the next day. I heave just thinking about it.

5. Are you introverted or extroverted?

I used to be really shy, but I got a lot better :)

6. What books are you currently reading?

I just discarded another Mills & Boon novel. Just because a book costs 60 p is not a reason to buy it.

I just read Twilight, because my friend lent it to me after she was done with it. It took me a month to finish this book. I usually open a book at a random page and read a few sentences to see whether I want to read the whole thing. I opened Twilight and read this:

I rolled my eyes. "Vampires like baseball?"
"It's the American pastime," he said with mock solemnity.

Need I say that the book remained unopened for the next three weeks?

In the end it was not too bad, but it's not my next fandom in the making.

7. What celebrity do you have a crush on?

Mmh. I don't really do the celebrity crush thing.

8. What brand of TV do you have?

It was gifted to us by a colleague. Hang on, I got to check.

"Goodmans" and it's in the living room.

9. How many songs do you have on your iPod?

I do not have an iPod.

10. First three things you do right after you get up?

Take my thyroid hormones, brush my teeth, take a shower

11. You go out with friends to get some ice-cream. How many scoops and what flavors do you order?

I usually get either something from the fruity side or something chocolaty/nutty: passion fruit, mango, lemon, pineapple or nougat, chocolate, coconut, peanut butter (when in America) or if I can afford it: cookies and cream.

Depending on the mood of the day, I get between 1 and 3 scoops, German scoops being tiny compared to American ones.

12. What do you love to wear?

Corsets.

I will not elaborate.

13. When people guess your age, do they usually think you're older, younger or get it right?

Younger, I used to look older than my actual age when I was a teenager, but that has luckily reversed.
