Wow

I nearly didn't even realize that I received a present. I nearly deleted the LJ notification thinking it's something promotional.

I received a gift. A boggles-my-mind-wow-who-could-have-done-it-I-think-I-have-to-cry-gift.

Somebody gave me 6 months of a paid LJ account.

I am so touched I think I am a bit incoherent.

That is so very sweet and I wish I'd know who it was so I can thank them properly.

Moved

Yesterday we managed to move into home no. 2.

It is ... unusual to say the least. I have a well in the living room with a heavy lid on top, which has a glass centre. There is a light in the well.

So, now I have a well-cum-coffee-table-come-lamp next to my sofa.

I also have a stone sink and a (no longer working) water pump in the lounge. Really must have been the laundry and/or kitchen of the building. I took loads of pictures yesterday, but when I wanted to upload them, here in home no. 1, where internet is still working, my batteries were empty and the charger is in home no.2.

Pics will come a little later, but they will come :)

Anyhow, we already feel much more at home in home no. 2 than we ever felt in home no. 1.

Bye for now, if everything goes the way I planned it (and why should that be the case?) I'll be back in a week or so.
