London! Broadband!
Apr. 11th, 2009 09:00 pmThis was a good day. Indeed.
First I met a friend to go to London. We did not really plan on much sightseeing as we have both been there several times and Buckingham Palace tends to look the same even when you look at it for the fourth or fifth time. The weather was kinda gloomy, too.
My friend is sort of punk-ish, so we went to Camden Town and Camden Lock Market and all those other markets around it. We took four hours to dig through all the fetish, punk, goth and burlesque shops! Awesome place. Pity that loads of tourists on Easter vacation had the same idea, but all in all it was great. I also bought some naughty stockings - Lordofclunn is coming home next week for a few days :)
Later on we had a quick look at the Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, simply because it was easy to reach by tube. Next time we want to go when the weather might be a bit better, take Tani along and do a bit of sight seeing with her, maybe even do a river cruise and go up the London Eye.
I have already created two galleries: one with "New Home" pics, the other with pics of my London trip today.

Coming home, I found no trace of any letter containing my set-up information for broadband. That meant I was now entitled to call the helpline, as I received my router already three days ago. I spoke to a nice person in India and voila - all set.
I have the next two days off and I intend to do a lot of catching up. Who needs sleep?
