Me got tagged by softobsidian74! So, with my still very limited abilities here on LJ, I´ll try to throw in my two galleons. Gosh, I think I don´t even know eight people on here, who haven´t been tagged yet. I am such a noob.

B) Tag eight people to do this quiz. It highly suggested that you participate but of course you don't have to.

1. What do you usually wear to bed, pjs or boxer shorts?
   Boxer shorts? I wear all kinds of things, depending on the, um, occasion.
   
   2. What do you do before bedtime?
   Brushing my teeth. (Reading and/or surfing as well most days)
   
   3. If you were to invent something, what would it be?
   A holo-deck, the ultimate fanfiction fantasy!
   
   4. What is the vacation destination of your dreams and why?
   Kalinigrad, Russia and Lithuania. Kalinigrad because it used to be German and that´s where my family comes from, I would like to walk the streets with the old addresses on the letters we still have. Lithuania because my maiden name seems to be Lithuanian. Would be nice to go with lots of family.
   
   5. Who is your fandom crush?
   Severus Snape, but my first love was Draco, and now Harry, Blaise and Lucius have joined the crowd, so we´ll have to go poly J.
   
   6. When was the last time you checked out a book from the public library, and what was it?
   About a year ago, when there was a library on the way between the subway station and my work place. I went every week and took home stacks of books. The last one was actually “Harry Potter and the Philosopher´s Stone” in German, for my mum when she was in hospital. Didn´t get her hooked, though. Damn.
   
   7. Ever cheated on someone?
   Define cheating. But, no, everything consensual.
   
   8. Do you remember the first fan fic you ever read?
   A German story about post war 7^th year, where all our favorite characters met for spin the bottle. A truly funny fic, I laughed my head off, sent the link to all my friends and went digging for more. The first English one was “Exquisite Irony” by myanceris.
   
   9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
2. When my daughter found one of her loose eyelashes, blew it away and wished “that we don´t have to go to England” *heart breaks*
   

10. Something you miss from your childhood?
Three months vacation per year, no bills, no insurances, no important decisions looming…

11. What do you wish you could eat right now?
Kaiserschmarren – I will have to buy eggs and flour tomorrow.

12. Favorite ice cream?
Cookies and cream. Unfortunately, this flavor is sold by only one very expensive maker in Germany. A pint size carton costs about 7.75 $, so I don´t indulge myself often.

13. What is one of your biggest pet peeves?
People canceling dinner/barbecue invitations 1 hour before the event. What do I do with 5 kg potato salad, huh? (Yes, happened more than once, I´m cursed or something.)

14. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?
She's an exceptional writer, laid back, cool, funny, caring, into a lot of the same stuff as I (hey, I even got training to be an advisor for wine J)

15. What’s the last movie you watched?
In a movie theater? Star Wars, 2^nd or 3^rd Episode, the one that came out six years ago. I had a huge belly and nearly threw up my nachos when the loud music set in and my daughter started kicking like hell. Ever since then, movies were just not worth the baby sitter, we wait for the DVD. On DVD a mediocre thing about people dying shortly after receiving a call on their mobile from their future self. *jawns*

16. What’s your favorite item of clothing?
My one perfectly fitting jeans and a tunic top in aqua colors.

17. What's better: to give or to receive?
*smirks* as in presents? To give, definitely, I love watching people open their presents at Christmas!

18. What's the first thing you notice in people?
Different with everyone.

19. Would you bungee jump from the Empire State Building for $10,000,000?
I think I´d even do it for 1,000,000. Might need some liquid courage, though.

20. What were your parents going to name you if you'd been born the opposite?
Arvid, very wizardy, I know, but I don´t think it would have been fun to be in elementary school in the 80s with that name.

 Plan B for me as a girl was Astrid. My name was not on the “List of Approved Names” or something like that, so my parents had to apply to be allowed to name me. Laws have relaxed by now, but I ended up applying as well. First names have to be “gender specific” and as we wanted the English/French version of Tanja=Tania. Apparently Tania is a guy´s name somewhere in this world…

21. What are you listening to/watching right now?
”Bringing Sexy Back”, it´s a Severus/Lucius/Sirius fanvid on my youtube playlist.
