Moving the Clunns

I don't usually bake all that much aside from birthdays and Christmas. My mother has a 90-year-old friend, who really enjoyed the cheesecake and since my mum is bringing her some groceries today I thought I'd make her some more cake, too. Somehow I hope that there will be somebody who will bring the occassional cake when I am 90.

(Yes, little Red Riding Hood, do come in...)

Since you all seemed to like the cheesecake I bring you: Cherry Marzipan cake. With streusel.

Thank you, thank you everybody for the birthday wishes, emails and posts! Those really made my day!

Otherwise:

I had one of my regular 10 hour-days that I have to work every three weeks.

I had to bake two cakes on Sunday, because one has to bring cake for the colleagues on one's birthday.

While waiting for my second cake to be ready, I got caught up in fanfiction...

Anyhow, I didn't get much sleep yesterday, which obviously resulted in the following telephone conversation at work. The company I work for is a mail order company for wellness products, cosmetics and nutritional supplements. We have a product called 'Vita Saurus', kids' vitamines.



Customer: lengthy explanation about how he combines products and why and how much he likes our stuff. *lady of clunn's mind wanders a bit*

lady of clunn *all business*: "So your order for June is: one Optimum Protection Pack, One Colloidal Silver and one Veritaserum."

Customer: *snort*
