Spotted Dick
Sep. 15th, 2008 11:12 amI did the English adventure thing and ordered Spotted Dick! Even while I was doing it I felt like I had just wasted 2,5 pounds.
But then the surprise: I liked it! It´s actually a not-so-soft spiced cake thing with lots of raisins or dried black currants in it. To make it eatable, custard, ice cream or whipped cream is poured over it. YUM
I might try "Toad in a Hole" next time. (Or whatever it´s called.)
