So, I've had a job interview last week, for a vacancy inside the company I already work for. I had not planned on applying, because I thought they are looking for someone who had been with the company for much longer.
My team leader 'strongly suggested' that I apply, as it shows interest and commitment and so on and so on.
Today I was called to the conference room and I was getting ready for a gentle let-down and a nice training course in London for my effort of applying.
And now I got the job.
Still dazed.

Aeh, juhu?

Date: 2009-06-17 05:41 pm (UTC)I will start on 1st of July in the customer service team: refunds, complaint management, building relationships with customers, 'challenging issues', probably also some traveling.
It's probably more stressful, a lot more responsibility and dealing with *cough* people who think they are really important. Problem is, they actually are...
Did I just forget to say thank you? *hides face in hands*
Thank you! :)
Money is better, though :)

Date: 2009-06-18 04:19 am (UTC)You know, I was promoted about a year ago to a more stressful job, and yes it was more money. One good thing about it also though was, I think it's more interesting. I never think my job is boring now. Sometimes maybe that's not so good. Yet I used to be bored to death, I was pulling my hair out. So sometimes, challenging and stressful can be a good thing, seriously.
